The Mageough Home was founded in 1878 in accordance with the will of Miss Elizabeth Mageough to provide accommodation for "Elderly ladies professing the Protestant Faith". In 2006 our rules were extended by permission of The Commissioners of Charitable Donations & Bequests to offer accommodation

to elderly married Protestant couples and elderly Protestant men.
